US-Iran Tensions Ease, Stocks Rise, Oil Prices Fall
Wall Street stocks opened higher on Monday after a pause in hostilities between the US and Iran, leading to a decline in crude oil prices.
The S&P 500 rose by 0.8% early in the day, following two consecutive weekly losses.
Brent crude dropped 6% in price, falling from $102 per barrel last week to around $90 per barrel.
