US-Iran Tensions Ease, Stocks Stabilize Amid Crude Oil Price Drop
Stocks on Wall Street closed in a mixed bag on Monday, as crude oil prices dropped following a decrease in tensions between the US and Iran.
The S&P 500 rose less than 0.1% after spending much of the day fluctuating between small gains and losses. The benchmark index was coming off two weekly losses in a row.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.5%, while the Nasdaq composite fell 0.2%, marking its fourth straight loss.
