US-Iran Tensions Send Oil Prices Soaring
Oil prices are on track for their steepest weekly gain since mid-July as tensions between the US and Iran intensify.
The US-Iran hostilities have heightened concerns over Middle East supply risks, pushing average US diesel prices to record highs.
Brent crude futures were flat at $95.52 a barrel by 0645 GMT, while US West Texas Intermediate crude futures climbed 7 cents to $91.36.
However, Brent rose 7.6% and WTI was 10.4% higher on a weekly basis, the highest gains since the week ended July 20.
