Oil prices declined on Thursday as US-Iran war tensions persisted, with Brent crude futures dropping to $87.30 per barrel and US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude falling to $83.70 per barrel.

The decline marked a partial reversal of the previous day's sharp rally, when Brent surged 7.91% and WTI climbed 6.56%, one of the biggest gains since the conflict began.

US President Donald Trump warned that Iran would face a strong response if American forces in Jordan were attacked, indicating ongoing geopolitical tensions in the region.
