US LNG Exports Plummet Amid Rising Shipping Rates
US liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports have seen a decline in shipments. According to recent data, US LNG plants sent 33 cargoes during the week ending September 16, down from 36 shipments in the previous week.
The Atlantic spot LNG shipping rates continue to rise, increasing for the third consecutive week. The rates rose by $5,250 week-on-week to $25,250 per day, according to Spark Commodities.
