US Military Fires Missiles at Iranian Oil Tanker Near Kharg Island

A series of explosions were reported near Kharg Island in Iran's largest oil export terminal on the morning of May 5th (local time), according to Iranian news agencies Fars and Tasnim.

No smoke or flames were observed, but Tasnim News Agency stated that an Iranian small oil tanker was attacked by U.S. missiles fired from 6 nautical miles away.

The tanker was hit by four projectiles but there have been no casualties reported so far, with the crew members evacuating the area.
