US Natural Gas Inventories Rise Less Than Forecast
US natural gas inventories saw an increase of less than expected in the week ended September 11, according to data released by the US Energy Information Administration on Thursday.
The smaller-than-expected build comes as natural gas demand remains seasonally subdued due to limited need for heating during the summer months, putting pressure on natural gas prices.
The inventories rose to 3.298 billion cubic feet, a weekly change of +44, compared to the forecasted +49.
