US Natural Gas Prices Stabilize Amid Abundant Supply

Natural gas prices cooled off on Wednesday as supply again appeared to be meeting demand. The September New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) natural gas futures stalled at midday, down less than a penny to $2.679/MMBtu.

The Henry Hub physical prices also dropped to $2.602 early in the day. This decline suggests that supply is keeping pace with demand, which has been a theme throughout the summer.
