US Natural Gas Storage Surpasses Expectations

The US Energy Information Administration (EIA) reported an injection of 44 Bcf natural gas into storage for the week ended Sept. 11, exceeding expectations and historical norms.

This bullish result already had a positive impact on natural gas futures, which held comfortably in midmorning trading.

The Midwest and East regions led by region, while the government print showed that the build was 3.7% above the 6-year mean.
