US Stocks Bounce Back on Falling Oil Prices and Easing Bond Market Pressure
US stocks rebounded on Thursday as oil prices fell and pressure from the bond market eased.
The S&P 500 jumped 1% after a volatile week, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 306 points, or 0.6%, and the Nasdaq composite was 1.3% higher.
The price of Brent crude oil slid 3% to $102.70, down from nearly $110 earlier in the week due to concerns over the war with Iran.
This decrease helped lower yields in the bond market, which in turn removed some pressure on stocks.
