US Stocks Edge Lower Amid Rising Oil Prices
U.S. stock markets ended the day slightly lower on Thursday as oil prices rose and more companies released their quarterly earnings reports.
The S&P 500 index fell by 0.2%, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped by 0.3% and the Nasdaq composite lost 0.1%.
Oil prices surged higher due to concerns about global supply, with West Texas Intermediate crude rising 1.4% to $68.41 a barrel.
