US Stocks Rebound with Oil Prices Down, Bond Market Pressure Easing
U.S. stocks jumped on Thursday after oil prices fell and pressure from the bond market eased.
The S&P 500 rose by 1% and was on track for its second increase in nine days, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed 306 points or 0.6%, and the Nasdaq composite gained 1.3% as of 9:35 a.m. Eastern time.
Oil prices fell 3% to $102.70 per barrel after earlier reaching nearly $110 due to concerns over the war in Iran, which had kept oil bottled up in the Middle East.
