US Stocks Slide Again Amid Rising Oil Prices
Major U.S. stock indexes declined for the second consecutive session on Tuesday as oil prices rose. The Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 184 points, or 0.34 percent, to 53,792. The tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite slipped 159 points, or 0.60 percent, to finish at 26,445.
The broad-based S&P 500 fell about 33 points, or 0.32 percent, to end at 7,720. Meanwhile, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude rose by $1 to settle at $83.35 per barrel.
