US Stocks Surge as Crude Oil Prices Plummet $4
A significant surge was observed in major U.S. stock indices on Monday, as crude oil prices dropped $4 to settle at $80.15 per barrel.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose by 693 points, or 1.32 percent, to reach 53,178 points, while the tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite leaped 540 points, or 2.13 percent, to close at 25,913 points.
The S&P 500 index gained approximately 110 points, or 1.48 percent, to finish at 7,600 points.
