US Targets Iranian Oil Tankers and Military Installations in Deterrence Effort

Washington has launched a series of airstrikes targeting Iranian oil tankers and military installations in response to Tehran's threats against international navigation. According to informed sources, US forces used advanced drones to launch precise missiles at two Iranian tankers anchored off the coast north of the naval blockade line imposed by Washington.

The operation represents a qualitative shift in the rules of engagement, where Iranian vessels are directly targeted for the first time since the current round of escalation began. The 'tanker for a tanker' policy aims to establish a deterrence equation that prevents the Revolutionary Guard from attacking commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz.
