In the Western Cornbelt, a few live purchases were reported at $220.00, while dressed purchases ranged from $350.00 to $355.00.
The last established market test in both regions showed similar price ranges, with steers over 80 percent Choice trading between $220.00 and $223.00 on a live basis. On a dressed basis, the same category traded from $350.00 to $355.00. The report also noted that prices, weights, and head counts reflect only those gathered through the mandatory reporting system.
