USDA Grain Bids Show Price Increases Across Multiple Regions

The USDA released its daily state grain bids for August 31, 2026, covering multiple regions. The reports include Kansas, Illinois, Louisiana and Texas Gulf export bids, Portland, Indiana, and Ohio.

In Kansas, cash bids for ordinary protein wheat in the West ranged from -80.00 to -75.00 cents under the futures, with prices between $7.4775 and $7.6925 per bushel, up from the previous session. In the South, ordinary protein wheat bids were at -28.00 cents under, with a price of $7.9975.

The Illinois report showed Chicago terminal bids for ordinary protein wheat at -15.00 to -5.00 cents under, with prices from $7.5200 to $7.6200, up 0.2425. Central Illinois country elevator average prices were $5.00 for corn (down 12 cents) and $12.80 for soybeans (down 8 cents).
