USDA Grain Bids Show Slight Declines Across Multiple Regions
The USDA Agricultural Marketing Service released its daily state grain bids for August 14, 2026. The reports cover multiple regions in the US, including Kansas, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, and others.
In Kansas, cash bids for ordinary protein wheat ranged from $6.4550 to $6.6050 per bushel, down 0.0025 from the previous session. Corn bids varied by region, with basis levels ranging from -50.00 to 5.00 cents per bushel.
Illinois reported an average central country elevator price for corn of $4.34, down 14 cents, and soybeans at $11.71, down 11 cents. Chicago terminal wheat bids were unchanged at $6.3275 to $6.4775 per bushel.
