USDA Raises Ukraine Wheat Harvest Forecast Amid Export Challenges
The USDA has raised its forecast for Ukraine's wheat harvest in the 2026/2027 marketing year. According to a new report, the forecast is now at 26 million tons, up 0.6 million tons from the previous estimate.
This increase is attributed to a record yield during the harvesting campaign. Additionally, the USDA has raised its feed grain harvest forecast by 0.5 million tons to 39.09 million tons.
However, the report also notes that the USDA has lowered its forecast for Ukraine's wheat exports by 1 million tons to 12.5 million tons and cut its feed grain export forecast by 0.5 million tons to 23.77 million tons.
