USDA Releases Grain Bids Bundle for September 14-16, 2026
According to the USDA Agricultural Marketing Service's daily state grain bids bundle for September 14-16, 2026, grain cash bids and basis levels across key US regions were detailed. The reports cover Kansas, Illinois, Louisiana and Texas Gulf export markets, Portland, Indiana, and Ohio. Country elevator bids for US #2 Yellow Corn in Kansas showed basis ranging from 25 cents under to 15 cents under the December contract in the Northwest.
Terminal elevator corn basis ranged from 35 cents under to 50 cents under, all unchanged. In Illinois, country elevator central Illinois average prices were $5.01 per bushel for corn at 35 cents under the December contract and $12.94 per bushel for soybeans at 25 cents under the November contract.
The Louisiana and Texas Gulf export bids and basis report showed export elevator bids for US #2 Yellow Corn at Gulf Coast ports in Louisiana with basis of 77-79 cents over the December contract, up 17-6 cents. US #1 Soybeans at Gulf Coast ports showed basis of 80-95 cents over the November contract, down 11-5 cents.
The Portland daily grain bids report showed Pacific ports export elevator bids for US #1 Club White Wheat with 10.5 percent protein prices ranging from $6.75 to $7.25 per bushel, unchanged. Futures settlements as of September 15, 2026 showed CBOT corn at 535.75 cents per bushel for December 2026.
