The latest USDA AgTransport weekly export sales report for August 27, 2026 shows that soybeans led net sales totals among major commodities. The report indicates that outstanding sales for soybeans and corn remain substantial, reflecting ongoing demand for U.S. agricultural products.
Mexico was a significant buyer of corn, with accumulated exports exceeding 24.7 million metric tons and outstanding sales of about 5.6 million metric tons. Japan also showed strong corn purchases, with accumulated exports surpassing 15.4 million metric tons and outstanding sales near 2.6 million metric tons.
For soybeans, China's accumulated exports reached approximately 12.4 million metric tons, while outstanding sales stood at 7.9 million metric tons. Mexico's soybean imports totaled over 5 million metric tons, with outstanding sales of 1.5 million metric tons.
