USDA Reports Declining Canola Bids Amidst Mixed Grain Futures

The USDA released its national daily report on sunflower, canola, millet, and flaxseed for September 2, 2026. The report provides cash bids, basis levels, and futures settlements from exchanges including the Chicago Board of Trade, Kansas City Board of Trade, and Minneapolis Grain Exchange.

In the canola market, bids at several North Dakota and Minnesota locations showed declines. At Hallock, Minnesota, bids ranged from $24.64 to $27.10 per hundredweight, with decreases of $0.42 to $0.44. Enderlin, North Dakota, saw bids between $25.26 and $27.49, down $0.41 to $0.59.

Futures settlements for September 2, 2026, included corn at 518.75 cents per bushel for September delivery and 543.50 for December. Soybeans settled at 1301.75 for September and 1310.25 for November. Wheat on the Chicago Board of Trade was 754.75 for September and 774.00 for December.
