USDA Reports Mixed Grain Bids Across Multiple Regions
The US Department of Agriculture's Agricultural Marketing Service released its daily state grain bids report for August 11, 2026. The report covers multiple regions and includes data from Kansas, Illinois, Louisiana and Texas Gulf export bids, Portland, Indiana, and Ohio.
In Kansas, the cash bids for ordinary protein wheat in the West region ranged from -75.00 to -60.00 cents per bushel basis, unchanged, with prices between $6.3850 and $6.5350 per bushel. This is down 0.0050 compared to previous days.
In Illinois, Chicago terminals/mills/processors offered ordinary protein wheat at a basis of -20.00 to -5.00 cents, unchanged, with prices from $6.2050 to $6.3550. Central Illinois country elevator average prices were $4.24 for corn, down 14 cents, and $11.67 for soybeans, down 12 cents.
The USDA also reported on grain bids in Louisiana and Texas Gulf export ports, with US #2 yellow corn at a basis of 97.00 to 99.00 cents, unchanged, and prices from $5.3150 to $5.3350. US #1 soybeans had a basis of 95.00 to 100.00 cents, unchanged, with prices from $12.4050 to $12.6625.
Futures settlements for August 10, 2026, from the Chicago Board of Trade, Kansas City Board of Trade, and Minneapolis Grain Exchange showed corn at 438.25 cents per bushel for September 2026, soybeans at 1157.75 for August 2026, wheat at 640.50 for September 2026, white wheat at 324.00 for September 2026, oats at 713.50 for September 2026, and KCBT wheat at 670.00 for September 2026.
