USTDA Brings Mideast Officials to US for LNG Promotion
The U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) is hosting a delegation of energy officials from Egypt, Jordan, and Morocco in Washington and Houston from September 19 to 30.
The 16-member group includes public and private sector representatives who will meet with senior officials at the White House and tour liquefied natural gas (LNG) infrastructure companies in Houston.
A public business briefing is scheduled for September 24, where American firms can hear about the visitors' infrastructure plans and meet delegates one-on-one.
The USTDA sees this visit as an opportunity to promote American LNG technology and exports, particularly given the growing interest in gas investment from these countries, including LNG imports, pipelines, storage, and new uses for natural gas.
