Vadodara Gas Raises CNG, PNG Prices Amid Market Conditions

Vadodara Gas Limited (VGL) has increased the retail prices of compressed natural gas (CNG) and domestic piped natural gas (PNG). The price hike comes into effect from 6am on Saturday. VGL has raised the CNG price by 55 paise per kg, making it Rs 86.50 per kg. This is up from the previous price of Rs 85.95 per kg.

The retail price of domestic PNG has also been increased by Rs 1 per standard cubic meter (SCM), from Rs 53.74 to Rs 54.74 per SCM. VGL cited an increase in natural gas procurement costs and market conditions as the reason for the price revision.
