Gas prices in the Valley have risen again, hitting $4.37 per gallon according to a recent release from AAA Arizona.

The increase is due to rising crude oil prices, which are currently trading at around $90 per barrel.

Aldo Vazquez, spokesperson for AAA Mountain West Group, attributed the spike in gas prices to instability in the region and volatility along the Strait of Hormuz.

The state average has risen by 18 cents a gallon from last week's price, reaching $4.34 per gallon.
