Vance Defends Trump's Trade Policies as Beneficial to Iowa Farmers

He pointed to the administration's efforts to open new markets for American food exports, citing a 35% increase in corn exports and commitments from China to buy $17 billion in agricultural products this year. Vance also emphasized Trump's focus on building domestic markets for American agricultural producers.

The vice president made his comments at a rally hosted by the Republican National Committee, where he also endorsed gubernatorial candidate Zach Lahn. Lahn spoke before Vance, emphasizing the importance of preserving Iowa's culture and institutions for future generations.
