Vedanta Invests ₹2,000 Crore in Rajasthan Oil Fields Boost
Vedanta Oil and Gas is planning to invest around $200 million (₹2,000 crore) in its Rajasthan oil fields during 2026-27.
The focus will be on improving output from existing wells and slowing the natural decline in reservoir production.
The company aims to increase crude oil production at the Mangla field to more than 150,000 barrels per day (bpd) from around 80,000 bpd currently.
Vedanta will use enhanced recovery techniques such as polymer flooding and alkaline-surfactant-polymer injection to improve recovery from mature reservoirs.
