Vietnam Gold Price Slumps to VND 145.5 Million Amid US Treasury Yields Pressure

The gold price in Vietnam fell sharply on September 23, reaching VND 145.5 million per tael due to strong US dollar performance and high US Treasury Yields.

The decline was expected as international bullion markets showed weakness, with gold prices easing to around $4,330-$4,340 per ounce.

In Vietnam, the domestic buying price for 24K gold fell by VND1 million per tael to around VND142.5 million per tael, while purchase rates for 99.99% gold rings eased to roughly VND142.0 million per tael.
