Vietnam Gold Prices Fall Further Amid Global Market Decline
Gold prices in Vietnam continued their downward trend for the second consecutive day on September 16. The decline was attributed to geopolitical uncertainty and a stronger US dollar, which put pressure on the precious metal. According to market data, major gold bars were being sold at around VND 142.3 million per tael, a drop of 300,000 VND compared to the previous day.
The domestic market saw a minor downward correction following international bullion prices, which eased slightly to about $4,290 an ounce. Gold prices in Vietnam have been affected by global market fluctuations, with investors closely watching the Federal Reserve's interest-rate decision for any hints on future policy direction.
