Vietnam Gold Prices Rise, but Early Buyers Face Significant Losses

The new week begins with gold prices ranging from 144.0 to 147.6 million VND/ounce for buying and selling in Vietnam, according to various gold dealers.

For those who bought gold at the beginning of September, selling it now would result in a loss of around 4.1-4.7 million VND per ounce, depending on the brand and price purchased. SJC gold bars are trading at 144.6-147.6 million VND/ounce, while DOJI Group has maintained high prices from last weekend.

PNJ Hanoi and Bao Tin Manh Hai (BTMH) also reported SJC gold bar prices of 144.6-147.6 million VND/ounce. Phu Quy is selling SJC gold bars at the same price range, while Mi Hong has listed its gold bars at 145.0 million VND/ounce for buying and 146.5 million VND/ounce for selling.
