Vietnam, Saudi Arabia Poised to Elevate Bilateral Ties
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyễn Minh Hằng said Việt Nam and Saudi Arabia are poised to elevate their bilateral ties, marking a new phase in their cooperation. Speaking at a ceremony marking the 96th National Day of Saudi Arabia, held by the Saudi Arabian Embassy in Hà Nội on Wednesday, Hằng noted that both countries have grown increasingly strong and dynamic over nearly three decades since establishing diplomatic relations.
The two nations are entering a new era of growth and transformation. Saudi Arabia is implementing its Vision 2030, which aims to diversify its economy beyond oil and invest in innovation, renewable energy, and tourism. Việt Nam is pursuing a new era of development towards its goals for 2030 and 2045.
Hằng expressed her belief that bilateral relations would continue to flourish with the commitment of their leaders and efforts by their peoples. The two countries are set to strengthen cooperation in areas such as trade, investment, energy, science, technology, and halal infrastructure.
