Vietnam Silver Prices Surge Amid Global Market Optimism
The price of silver has seen a significant increase in Vietnam, with the 2024 Ancarat 999 bar reaching a threshold of 2.283 - 2.342 million VND/tael (buying - selling) at the Ancarat Gem Company.
This represents an increase of 131,000 VND/tael on the buying side and 135,000 VND/tael on the selling side compared to a month ago.
The world silver price has also seen an increase, reaching 64.54 USD/ounce as of August 16, up 7.52 USD/ounce from last month's price.
This rise in silver prices is attributed to several factors, including the expectation that the US Federal Reserve will maintain its current interest rate policy in September and the weak US jobs report and lower-than-forecast inflation figures.
