The silver price in Vietnam has increased by up to 1.8 million VND/kg as of September 18, according to recent market developments. The DOJI Jewelry Group Joint Stock Company listed its 999 silver (1 tael) at the threshold of 2.305 - 2.405 million VND/tael, an increase of 94,000 VND/tael in both directions compared to yesterday morning.

The Ancarat Gem Company also saw an increase in its prices, with 2024 Ancarat 999 (1 tael) listed at the threshold of 2.207 - 2.273 million VND/tael, and 2025 Ancarat 999 (1kg) listed at 58.314 - 60.114 million VND/kg.

The world silver price was listed at 65.87 USD/ounce as of 9:15 am on September 18, up 2.60 USD/ounce compared to yesterday morning. The rise in silver prices is attributed to the market's analysis of the US Federal Reserve's latest interest rate decision.

The decline in oil prices and US Treasury bond yields has also contributed to the increase in silver prices. However, the outlook for silver prices remains influenced by US monetary policy, with policymakers considering further interest rate hikes this year.
