Vietnamese Gold Prices Plummet to New Lows Amid Ongoing Market Volatility
Gold prices in Vietnam continue to experience losses for buyers who purchased at different times during the past two weeks. As of August 3, 2026, at 4:00 AM, gold bar prices at major businesses retreated to the range of 137-141 million VND/ounce (buying price, selling price), a further decrease of 200,000 to 1.5 million VND/ounce compared to the July 30th session.
At SJC, gold bars were bought at 137 million VND/ounce and sold at 141 million VND/ounce this morning. Notably, this brand had the highest selling price on the market on July 27th (144.2 million VND/ounce), so buyers at DOJI on that day are now suffering the heaviest losses: 7.2 million VND/ounce.
