Vietnamese Gold Prices Rise, Leaving Buyers in the Red
Gold prices in Vietnam have experienced an increase in the past week, resulting in losses for buyers. The Saigon SJC Jewelry Company listed the price of SJC gold bars at 144.6-147.6 million VND/tael (buying - selling) with a buying-selling difference of 3 million VND/tael.
This represents an increase of 1.6 million VND/tael compared to last week's prices. The DOJI Group also listed the price of SJC gold bars at the same range, resulting in a similar loss for buyers who purchased last week and sold this week.
The 9999 gold ring price has also seen an increase, with the DOJI Group listing it at 144-148 million VND/tael (buying - selling) and Phu Quy Gold and Gems Group listing it at 144.6-147.6 million VND/tael (buying - selling), both with a buying-selling difference of 3-4 million VND/tael.
This has resulted in losses for buyers who purchased gold rings last week and sold them this week, amounting to 1.8-3 million VND/tael at Phu Quy and 3 million VND/tael at DOJI.
