Vietnamese Gold Prices Soar Amid Rising World Gold
The price of SJC gold bars in Vietnam has seen a significant increase. As of 6:00 PM on September 16, Saigon SJC Jewelry Company listed the price at 143.5-146.5 million VND/tael (buying - selling), with an increase of 1.2 million VND/tael in both directions. The buying-selling difference is 3 million VND/tael.
Similar increases were seen by DOJI and Phu Quy, which listed the price at 143.5-146.5 million VND/tael (buying - selling) with a 1.2 million VND/tael increase in both directions.
The prices of gold bars and 9999 plain round gold rings also saw increases. Phu Quy listed the price of gold rings at 143.5-146.9 million VND/tael (buying - selling), with an increase of 1.2 million VND/tael in both directions.
The world gold price, recorded at 6:00 PM on September 16, was listed at 4,346.4 USD/ounce, up 52.9 USD (equivalent to a 1.24% increase).
Market analysts believe that the upward momentum of gold prices has returned after two consecutive declining sessions. The market is awaiting the interest rate decision of the US Federal Reserve (Fed) to be announced at the end of the day.
