Virginia Gas Prices Soar as Crude Oil Costs Climb
Gas prices in Virginia have seen an increase of seven cents over the past week, bringing the average price to $4.24 per gallon.
This rise is attributed to the rising cost of crude oil, which has climbed to around $92-$93 per barrel today.
According to AAA spokesperson Morgan Dean, the volatility in crude oil prices is contributing to the higher cost of gasoline.
As holiday travel approaches, drivers are advised to compare gas prices along their route before filling up and look for midweek discounts and cash-back or fuel rewards programs.
