Vivakor Doubles Crude Oil Platform to $1.5 Billion Annually
Vivakor Inc., a company listed on NASDAQ under the ticker VIVK, has significantly expanded its crude oil marketing platform. The company has secured two new long-term programs that have more than doubled its previous platform size to approximately $1.5 billion in annualized activity.
The expansion adds about 500,000 barrels per month and roughly $400 million in value to the existing platform. This brings Vivakor's total announced platform to around 1.54 million barrels per month, equating to 18.4 million barrels annually.
The new contracts run from August 1, 2026, through July 31, 2027, and were executed through a wholly owned subsidiary called Vivakor Supply & Trading, LLC (VST). Chairman and CEO James Ballengee stated that the company's trading model continues to execute at a strong pace.
Vivakor's stock price remained relatively stable after the announcement, with shares up 0.52% at $1.950 during premarket trading on Wednesday. This comes after the stock surged more than 200% following the July 21 announcement of the initial expansion.
