VP Vance Unveils Crackdown on CDL Fraud, Warns Iran Against Commercial Shipping Attacks

Vice President JD Vance addressed reporters at Joint Base Andrews before departing for Michigan and Nevada. He announced a major federal crackdown on commercial driver's license (CDL) fraud, stating that fraudulent licenses have undercut American wages in the trucking industry and threatened highway safety.

Vance also clarified that President Trump's recent AI-generated video regarding Iran is a direct warning to cease attacks on commercial shipping. The administration aims to stabilize global energy markets by supporting rising oil production from Venezuelan reserves.

In addition, Vance emphasized the need for tech companies building AI data centers to construct their own power plants to avoid driving up local utility bills.
