VR Resources Hits Big with 881-Meter Drill Hole in Nevada
Nevada-based VR Resources Ltd. has reported an impressive 881-meter drill hole at its New Boston project, which encountered continuous polymetallic veining and sulfide mineralization.
The result highlights the scale of the system and provides retail investors with a concrete data point to evaluate the company's exploration progress.
Copper prices in the U.S. surged last year amid tariff expectations, while global inventories rose more than 500,000 tons. Tungsten prices have outperformed gold and oil over the past year, and new U.S. restrictions on foreign tungsten sourcing begin in 2027.
The company's CEO, Michael Gunning, noted that follow-up drilling at New Boston is planned for the fall, while Empire drilling is anticipated later this fall after VTEM+ survey results are integrated with existing project data.
