Wall Street Rises Amid Oil Price Easing, Despite Chip Stocks Slide

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose by 402 points on Tuesday, while the Nasdaq composite fell 1.1% as oil prices eased further from their two-month high.

Coca-Cola led the gains after its revenue rose 7%, while Sherwin-Williams and Illinois Tool Works also reported stronger profits than expected.

The majority of US stocks are rising as companies deliver better-than-expected earnings, but AI chip stocks continue to drop, with Micron Technology down 10.8% and Advanced Micro Devices down 9.6%.
