Western Canada Grain Prices: August 2026 Update

The latest grain prices in Western Canada have been released by PDQ, which provides information services and cash grain market prices. The figures are based on data from August 21, 2026.

CWRS (Canadian Western Red Spring) wheat is trading at an average price of $13.5 per metric tonne in Peace region, while CWAD (Canadian Western Amber Durum) wheat is priced at $13.0 per metric tonne in the same area. CPSR (Canadian Prairie Spring Red) wheat is selling for $11.5 per metric tonne.

Canola prices are higher in some regions, with N Alberta averaging $317.10 per metric tonne and S Alberta at $319.00 per metric tonne. Peas are trading at an average price of $749.78 per metric tonne in Peace region.
