Western Canada Grain Prices Revealed on September 22
The latest grain prices in Western Canada were released by PDQ, owned by the Alberta Wheat Commission, on September 22, 2026. The average prices for various grains at different regions are as follows: CWRS (13.5 CAD/mt), CWAD (13.0 CAD/mt), CPSR (11.5 CAD/mt), CDA (2.0 CAD/mt) and Yellow Peas (320.96 CAD/mt). The prices for canola, peas, and other grains vary across regions.
The Peace region saw an average price of 320.96 CAD/mt for Yellow Peas and 286.61 CAD/mt for CWAD. In Northern Alberta, the average price was 335.59 CAD/mt for CWRS and 322.70 CAD/mt for canola. Southern Alberta had a higher average price of 339.62 CAD/mt for CWRS and 320.97 CAD/mt for canola.
The regions in Saskatchewan saw varying prices as well, with Northwest Sask averaging 328.85 CAD/mt for CWRS and 310.25 CAD/mt for canola. In Southeastern Sask, the average price was 307.72 CAD/mt for CWRS and 300.82 CAD/mt for canola.
Producers are encouraged to check with several grain companies for basis levels in their area.
