Western Canada Grain Prices Show Regional Variations in Latest PDQ Data

The latest grain prices in Western Canada have been released by PDQ, owned by the Alberta Wheat Commission. The figures are provided for various areas and types of grains as of August 13, 2026. CWRS, CWAD, CPSR, CDA, and YELLOW are some of the grain types listed, with CANOLA and PEAS also included in the data.

The Peace region saw CWRS and CWAD prices at $298.21 and $275.15 per metric tonne respectively. In Northern Alberta, CWRS was priced at $309.60, while CANOLA reached $296.16 per metric tonne. Similarly, in Southern Alberta, CWRS was valued at $310.49.

The data also shows varying prices for different regions within Saskatchewan. The Northwest region saw CWRS at $301.54, while the Southwest region had a price of $291.77. In Northeastern and Southeastern Saskatchewan, CWRS prices were recorded at $292.37 and $284.69 respectively.
