Western Canada Grain Prices Vary by Region as of September 25

The latest grain prices in Western Canada have been released by PDQ, owned by the Alberta Wheat Commission. The prices are as of September 25, 2026, and provide insight into the current market. CWRS, CWAD, CPSR, CDA, and YELLOW grains were priced at $13.5, $13.0, $11.5, N/A, and $2 respectively in Canadian dollars per metric tonne.

The prices vary across different regions of Western Canada, with Peace province having the lowest CWRS price at $314.27 and highest CDA price at $768.56. In contrast, South Alberta had the highest CWRS price at $332.06 and Yellow at $294.39.

Canola prices were also reported, ranging from $281.37 in Peace to $323.69 in South Alberta. Producers are advised to check with multiple grain companies for basis levels specific to their area.
