Western Canadian Grain Prices See Variations Across Regions
A recent report from PDQ, owned by the Alberta Wheat Commission, provided an update on daily grain prices in Western Canada as of August 21, 2026.
The data shows varying prices for different types of grains across several regions. In Peace Country, CWRS and CDA prices were $305.73 and $749.78 per metric tonne respectively, while canola was priced at $283.29 and peas at $749.78 per metric tonne.
In Northern Alberta, CWRS and CDA prices were higher at $317.10 and $750.98 per metric tonne, while canola was priced at $288.51 and peas at $295.47 per metric tonne.
