Kansas City HRW futures were down by 2 ¼ to 10 ¾ cents on the session, and its December contract was 14 ¾ cents lower for the week.
MPLS spring wheat traded between 4 ¼ to 11 ¼ cents in the red, with December closing just 3 ¾ cents lower for the week.
Spec funds in Chicago wheat futures and options flipped back to a net short position as of September 15, representing an increase of 8,968 contracts from their previous stance.
