Wheat Futures Recover from Thursday's Losses in Early Friday Trade
Wheat futures rebounded in early Friday trade after suffering broad-based declines on Thursday. Key contracts saw modest gains, ranging from 4 to 7 cents, following a weaker session across Chicago, Kansas City, and Minneapolis markets.
The weekly U.S. wheat export sales report showed a total of 296,427 metric tons (MT) booked for the week ending July 30, marking a four-week high but remaining 59.82% below the same period last year's exports.
The Philippines was the top destination for these exports, purchasing 87,800 MT, followed by Mexico with 68,700 MT and Vietnam with 62,000 MT.
