Wheat Prices Drop Amid Shift in Global Market Sentiment

Wheat futures traded lower on Wednesday across the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT), Kansas City Board of Trade (KCBT), and Minneapolis Grain Exchange (MIAX) markets.

The wheat complex had shown strength on Tuesday, with CBOT contracts closing between 5.25 to 8.5 cents higher, while open interest declined by 920 contracts.

Kansas City HRW futures were up 2.75 to 6.25 cents on the day, but saw a slight drop in open interest of 768 contracts.

Minneapolis spring wheat futures also rose, closing between 9 to 12.25 cents higher.
